JOBY is a globally recognised camera-accessories brand known for inventive, adaptable products that help photographers, filmmakers and content creators capture images from almost any angle. Best known for the GorillaPod, its flexible supports, mounts and accessories combine playful design with practical performance, encouraging people to experiment with how and where they create.
The brief
JOBY asked BakerWilcox to support its advertising and printed communications across a wide range of product launches and marketing activity. The work included campaign artwork, product brochures, catalogues, sales literature and other customer-facing materials designed for both trade and consumer audiences. Depending on the project, this involved developing original creative or adapting supplied brand assets into finished communications for the UK market.
BakerWilcox are very much an extension of our team, working closely with us to develop advertising, POS and online material to meet the needs of our business.
It doesn’t matter what comes their way they come up with effective solutions to support our marketing activity.

The execution
Our involvement ranged from creating campaign layouts and copylines to developing detailed product literature and adapting international creative for local audiences. Each project required a clear understanding of the product, its practical benefits and the audience most likely to use it.
The visual approach placed JOBY’s products and their versatility at the centre of the communication. Bold imagery demonstrated how products could grip, wrap, stand and adapt in real-world situations, while concise messaging helped turn technical functionality into something immediate and easy to understand.
For brochures, catalogues and sales literature, we created structured layouts that could accommodate detailed specifications, compatibility information and product comparisons without feeling overly technical. Strong hierarchies, colour coding and product-led photography helped readers navigate the range and identify the most relevant solution quickly.

We helped JOBY rollout print and digital campaigns
Campaign artwork was developed across a variety of print and digital formats, with compositions carefully adjusted to suit each placement. Where master creative was supplied, we refined the layout, messaging and product emphasis for the UK market while maintaining a consistent connection to JOBY’s global identity.
The result was a flexible body of work that balanced product detail with the brand’s energetic personality, giving JOBY clear, distinctive communications across campaigns, brochures and wider sales materials.

JOBY’s products invite experimentation, and that gave us a rich creative territory to explore. Whether we were developing a campaign or building a detailed product brochure, the challenge was always to make the functionality feel immediate, accessible and full of possibility.
