JOBY is a globally recognised camera-accessories brand known for inventive, adaptable products that help photographers, filmmakers and content creators capture images from almost any angle. Best known for the GorillaPod, its flexible supports, mounts and accessories combine playful design with practical performance, encouraging people to experiment with how and where they create.
The brief
JOBY asked BakerWilcox to support the brand across exhibitions, retail environments and point-of-sale. The work included exhibition graphics, product displays, demonstration areas and in-store communications designed to showcase the range and help customers understand the products through direct interaction.
BakerWilcox are very much an extension of our team, working closely with us to develop advertising, POS and online material to meet the needs of our business.
It doesn’t matter what comes their way they come up with effective solutions to support our marketing activity.

The execution
We created a broad range of exhibition and point-of-sale materials that placed the products and their flexibility at the centre of the experience. Bold graphics, concise messaging and carefully planned display areas helped attract attention while making it immediately clear how each product could grip, wrap, stand and adapt.
For exhibitions, we considered the position of the stand within the hall, the direction from which visitors would approach and the natural movement of people through the space. This informed the placement and scale of key messages, product zones and demonstration areas, helping guide visitors from initial recognition to hands-on exploration.
The practical nature of JOBY’s products made interaction especially important. Displays were designed to encourage visitors and customers to handle the products, test their movement and see how they could be used in real-world situations. This turned technical functionality into something immediate, playful and easy to understand.

Store Point of Sale was developed and distributed across the UK
Across retail environments, we developed point-of-sale and packaging communications that helped individual products stand out while retaining a coherent brand presence across the range. Clear feature hierarchies, bold colour and product-led imagery supported comparison and gave customers useful information at the moment of purchase.
Close collaboration with JOBY’s teams, distribution partners, exhibition contractors, printers and retailers ensured that every element worked both creatively and practically. The result was a flexible family of branded environments that brought the spirit of JOBY into the physical world and placed product discovery firmly in the hands of the customer.

Wide digital campaigns were created for each core product line
JOBY products are designed to be handled, moved and explored, so the most effective environments were those that invited people to do exactly that. Our job was to create the visual impact that drew visitors in, then use the space, messaging and product presentation to turn curiosity into genuine interaction.
